First Time Submission

I recently started exploring DDLG dynamics with my partner and it’s been a bit of a shock to the system. We agreed on a light set of rules, nothing too intense. The other night, he disciplined me for breaking one of them, I was late from work, and it wasn’t as scary or painful as I expected, but I found myself oddly turned on by it. It felt strange and confusing at the same time. Is this normal? How do others handle unexpected feelings during their first sessions?
