Little Mishap with Mom's Muffins

I'm a software engineer who has an unusual side to my life. I love playing the role of a little under my mom’s care, even though she knows it's all pretend. We have a lot of fun together, but sometimes it gets me into trouble. Yesterday, we were baking her famous lemon muffins, and as a 'little,' I wasn't allowed near them until they cooled down completely. But the sweet smell was too tempting! Without thinking, I reached for one when it looked cool to my little eyes, only to burn my fingers. Mom scolded me gently but firmly, making me sit in time-out with my burned finger and a cold compress. It felt both naughty and humiliated, but also oddly affectionate to be treated like an actual child again.
