An Unlikely Turn of Events

So there I was, late at night, finishing up some paperwork. You know how it is, always a few more files to sort through than you'd like. Then, she walked in. No patient, just a friend needing help with something medical-related. We talked for a bit, and things took an unexpected turn. I ended up...caring for her needs, not the way I'm used to doing it at work though. It was surprisingly intimate and quite enjoyable, despite the circumstances. Now here we are, weeks later, still on that path. It's amusing how life works out sometimes. Amusing or maybe just a sign of my lack of boundaries? What do you think? Do I have some serious issues, or is it possible to keep this side separate from professional responsibilities?
