Figuring It Out?

So I just started exploring a bit with an older partner and man, it's intense. We did some roleplay stuff where they acted all parental and strict, y'know, like the ultimate DDLG thing, and let me tell you, I'm still processing this much post-coital awkwardness. Physical side was explosive though, couldn't help but think about how different things felt with these new power dynamics involved. Anyway, anyone have advice for a college kid trying to navigate what feels like suddenly discovering an entire secret universe? Is all of this just weird or is it totally normal and I'm overthinking it big time?
