Little Me Screwed Up Again

Daddy, I feel so bad today. You gave me a list of chores to do this morning before you went out for your meeting, and I really wanted to play with my toys instead. But you told me that those chores were important to keep the house clean and tidy. I know you trust me to follow through when you're not around, but I couldn't resist playing with my toy car set in the garage while I was supposed to be cleaning it up. And then... I got so distracted by one of your model airplanes there that I forgot about dinner until way past its time. You must be disappointed. I really want to do better next time and follow the rules you’ve given me. Can you forgive my little mistake?
