dad issues

i started getting into ddlg stuff a while back kinda as an exploration of my own daddy issues i guess. i never had the dad i always wanted growing up and i just felt this pull towards being one for someone else. i met this girl on a dating app, she’s like 25ish but has these huge crushes on older guys and we’ve been experimenting with some roleplay stuff. it feels good to be in charge, to take care of her and tell her what to do, but sometimes i feel like maybe im just filling my own void or something. the other day she got a bit cheeky and i had to give her the belt for it. afterwards we were both kinda shaky, not sure if that’s just part of it or if there’s more to unpack here. any thoughts? is this normal or do i need to rethink what im doing?
