A New Chapter

I’ve been a stay-at-home parent for five years, and only recently did I realize this part of me exists... It’s like a secret that’s always been there, waiting to be discovered. For the longest time, I just felt out-of-place as an adult. Then one day, while watching cartoons with my kids, it hit me, why not give into the urge and let myself feel small? So silly, but so right... And now... Now I’m lost in this world of stuffed animals and naps and baby talk.... Oh god, it feels amazing to sink back into that space. To let someone take care of every little thing.... It’s like being a child again without the pain or confusion, just pure joy and comfort.....
