A Secret Night Out

I've always been drawn to the thrill of playing someone else when I'm off-duty. Working as a nurse can be draining and sometimes overwhelming, but stepping into another role allows me to escape reality for a little while. Last month, after a particularly tough shift at work where an elderly patient passed away, I decided to visit a club that caters to those who like to explore different personas. There's something cathartic about pretending to be someone else, maybe it’s because of the stress or perhaps my desire to let go and feel alive again. That night, I dressed up as a playful but slightly submissive student, enjoying the fantasy without judgment from anyone around me. It was liberating yet strangely comforting, allowing me to express sides of myself that are usually tucked away when caring for others.
