Forgot My Groceries List Again
Anonymous Velvet Bean #345 · General Confessions
So I was walking out of my favorite bakery, with a big box of those chocolate croissants I know I shouldn't have too many of. And you know how it goes? Right when I step outside, there's this little breeze and poof, my groceries list flies away like a leaf in the wind. Caught me off guard for sure. I felt like an idiot chasing after it, but it was just a paper thing anyway. Still, as I'm running around trying to find where it went, all these bakery smells hit me hard, and suddenly, there's this overwhelming urge to get another dozen of those almond croissants. But then I remember, you see...I’m supposed to be the Daddy here, keeping everything under control. The last thing a good Daddy does is give in to cravings like that. And just when I think all hope is lost, I catch myself thinking maybe I could make up for it later by doing some extra chores around the house. You know, sweeping the floors or something boring and tedious, something my Sub would never want to do themselves. But then again, there’s also a chance that this little mishap with the list was just an excuse to indulge in more croissants than I planned. So now I’m standing here, torn between feeling like I broke some unwritten rule by not having my shopping list and wanting to laugh it off because, honestly, who really keeps up with those lists all the time anyway? But then again, maybe there’s something about always being prepared that reminds me of why I'm in this roleplay dynamic. Being ready for anything, keeping things organized, those are big Daddy traits. So yeah, here I am, still holding onto my chocolate croissants, feeling a bit guilty and trying to figure out how to get back on track with the list while also promising myself that maybe next time, it won’t be about the food. Maybe next time it'll just be keeping those lists in order so there’s one less thing to worry about.
