Just Another Sunday

So here I am, playing Mommy to my grown-up 'little' for the umpteenth time this month. It's not like it's a big deal or anything, just another day where someone thinks it’s okay to act like they're back in high school or something. But hey, if that's what keeps them happy and entertained, more power to them, right? We have our routine down pat: breakfast in bed, a good talking-to about behaving better (because apparently I'm the only one who can give it), and then maybe a little 'naps' after all that. Today was a bit of an overachiever, I got my fair share of playtime too. All in all, another day in adult life, where I'm still figuring out how to juggle the roles of friend, partner, and now Mommy. If you're wondering why I signed up for this gig... well, let's just say there are worse ways to spend an afternoon.
