caregiving fun

hey all i'm 26 and just started being a caregiver for my partner who's also in her twenties but has some mental health stuff. we've been together for about a year now and things have gotten pretty serious. recently, as part of our dynamic, she asked me to take on more of a parental role while she explores being a little girl sometimes. it sounds weird maybe but it's kinda fun! tonight was my first official night playing caregiver, making her go to bed early and drink tea before lights out. i made sure she brushed her teeth too which felt really cute. now we're cuddled up with some milk and cookies like how it used to be when i was little. is this normal? am i supposed to feel so happy about being a daddy figure even if my partner asked me to do it? any thoughts or advice would help, thanks.
