..Little Mistakes..

I started working at the bar last year after my parents kicked me out for being gay. It was tough, but I managed. Recently, this really cool older guy started coming in every night. He's handsome and always knows how to make me feel... special. Last week, he asked if he could call me 'baby' while we talk. I said yes, though I felt weird about it. Then one night, out of nowhere, he got all serious and told me off like a parent would for breaking some rule. He said things that made me blush deeply and feel...small again. It left me confused and ashamed... Is this okay? Do people actually want this kind of stuff?
