Feeling Lost in My Switch Roleplay

I've been exploring my switch side as both a little and a caregiver. Lately, though, I feel like I'm getting too attached to the little space, and it's starting to affect my confidence outside of roleplay sessions. Is this normal? How do you maintain boundaries while still fully embracing the character in these dynamic scenes? Any advice would be appreciated.
