I Broke The Little Rules Without Breaking A Commandment

Anonymous Secret Cub #309 · General Confessions

So there I was, feeling like a kid again, all dressed up in my little clothes and doing chores around the house to please my big. We’ve got this dynamic going on that’s super consensual and fun for us both. I’m 32 but sometimes it feels right to let go of grown-up responsibilities and just be cared for, even if it's just a role-play kind of thing. Now, I should mention we live by military base rules at home too; I mean, my big is still in the service so that’s part of who he is. And like any good little one, when he tells me to do something or not to do something, there’s a reason behind it. It’s all about safety and respect for his lifestyle. But sometimes, even though I know better... There was this day where I got so busy with work stuff that I skipped doing my assigned chores around the house, cleaning up after meals and organizing things. I knew it wasn’t going to be good when he found out because skipping those tasks means a lot of extra talking about responsibility later on, which is not exactly fun for me or him. I ended up confessing everything at dinner time. We sat down together and I told the whole story, how busy I was but how it still wasn’t an excuse to slack off. It’s funny because despite feeling bad, there was this weird comfort in sharing that moment too. And you know what? He didn’t get mad or punish me like he could have. Instead, we talked about my workload and figured out a better way for me to handle everything without dropping the ball. I think sometimes being in a little role just reminds us both of the importance of following through even when it's tough. And hey, if I do mess up again (and maybe I will), at least I have this conversation under my belt, I know how to deal with it more maturely now.
