Breaking Rules is for Breakups Too

So here I am, feeling like a total scumbag after skipping out on the vacuuming. Yeah, yeah, it's just dust and lint, but rules are rules when you're trying to get into the headspace of being a little again, even if you're technically the one making them up for yourself. My 'Daddy' had me write down my chores last week like I'm five or something, complete with stars and stickers for every task done right on time. And there I was, skipping vacuuming, just couldn't bring myself to face the pile of hair that's definitely going to get tangled in the brush. Silly me thought it'd be okay to put off until tomorrow. But here we are today, and the place looks like a tornado hit it instead of a human living here. So yeah, I'm officially breaking rule number one: follow through on your chores without having to be asked ten times. Maybe it's time to take back control and switch from little mode to grown-up mode, or at least adult mode with responsibilities. But honestly? Feeling like a naughty kid who just got caught eating the cookie jar... sucks.
