Caught Up in Secrets

I just started college and my roommate is like a big sister to me. We were talking about our past boyfriends one night when she mentioned how her ex used to discipline her with spankings if she didn't follow rules he set for their relationship. I thought it sounded kind of hot, but I've never even kissed anyone! Am I just confused or is this normal curiosity? What do you think?
