When I Snuck a Chocolate Bar

Anonymous Giggly Pixie #198 · General Confessions

I've been exploring the dynamics of being a little for a while now with my partner. The rules and boundaries we set are there to guide me into this mindset, where everything is simplified, carefree, but still full of responsibility. Last week, though, I found myself in a bit of trouble. My partner told me not to eat any more chocolate bars until the weekend, she said it was about self-control and listening carefully. But you know how that goes when you're trying so hard to be good... the temptation became too much. So late at night, while I knew my caregiver wasn't home yet from work, I snuck a bar out of the cupboard. As satisfying as it tasted in that moment, the guilt followed closely behind. Knowing I broke a rule set specifically for me, one designed to challenge and strengthen my little mindset, made it feel like more than just a snack mishap. It’s this strange mix of wanting to be seen as capable but also yearning for the simple pleasures, how do you reconcile those feelings without undermining everything else? And now, I'm left wondering how often this kind of slip-up means something bigger is going on within me.
