Little Mistake at Work

I really tried to stay out of trouble, but I couldn't resist the temptation. During my shift at the store, we weren't supposed to eat any products on display, but something about those chocolate-covered strawberries was just too irresistible. I took one and hid it in my pocket. It felt like such a betrayal when I heard the sound of the plastic wrapper crinkling as I shoved it under my apron. My heart pounded with guilt as I continued working, knowing full well what would happen if I got caught. Now every time I see those strawberries on display, I feel ashamed and worried about getting disciplined.
