small slip up

had a moment today at work where i broke my own little rules. we had a staff meeting about following protocol and one of the things mentioned was not to take breaks when there's patient care going on. but then, later that day, i got super thirsty and thought maybe just a quick sip wouldn't hurt anyone. so i went to the break room for some water without checking if all patients were stable first. felt like it wasn't a big deal at the time, but now i'm second guessing myself. not sure if this is worth telling my daddy figure or if he'd even care about such a small thing.
