Post-Divorce Little Play with Ex-Husband
Anonymous Midnight Duckling #234 · General Confessions
After my divorce six months ago, I started feeling lost and a bit childish. My ex-husband had always been supportive of me exploring my feelings and desires, even when they were unconventional. We decided to try something different, entering into a DDLG (Daddy Dom/Little Girl) dynamic as a way to reconnect after our breakup and explore new paths in life. It began with simple things: he bought me stuffed animals, sent care packages filled with baby dolls and books on child psychology. We talked openly about why I wanted to feel like a little girl again, the idea of safety and being taken care of appealed to me greatly after years of marital stress. He was understanding and patient. Our sessions were scheduled weekly, starting off light with him reading bedtime stories and tucking me into bed as if I was his child. The roleplay deepened over time; he started dressing me up in cute outfits, putting on makeup for me, and taking care of all my needs. It was therapeutic but also incredibly intimate. In one session, after a particularly stressful day at work, I felt overwhelmed and vulnerable. My ex-husband had prepared a bath with bubbles and calming scents; he washed my hair gently and dried it with care before tucking me into bed early, telling stories until I fell asleep. It was the most comforting feeling. However, there were times when our roles became too intense, like the time I asked him to punish me for a perceived mistake, craving that old sense of being disciplined by someone wiser and stronger than me. He obliged in a playful way, but it left me questioning the boundaries we'd set up. While it helped us both in dealing with our emotions post-divorce, it's clear this isn't a long-term solution. It's a temporary reprieve, an escape from reality. I'm starting to work on myself more and find my footing without leaning so heavily on these roleplays.
