A Trans Man's Dilemma in Domination and Submission Play
Anonymous Midnight Moth #492 · General Confessions
Hey everyone, I've been feeling a bit conflicted lately about my roleplay dynamics. Let me give you some background. I'm in my early twenties, transitioning as a male-to-female (M2F) trans man. Before starting HRT, I was quite active in the kink and BDSM scene, usually playing little or submissive roles. The carefree nature of those sessions always left me feeling both exhilarated and content. However, after starting my transition, something shifted within me. Now that I’m more settled into a male identity, I’ve started exploring the caregiver role as well. It’s been interesting to be on both sides of this dynamic, sometimes playing little and sometimes nurturing. The conflict began when I met someone new in the scene, a dominant who was initially very open-minded about switching roles with me based on our mood or desires for a given session. However, she recently seemed more interested in maintaining control as my caregiver, treating me like her little boy despite my adult male presentation and identity. This has left me feeling conflicted. While part of me enjoys the warmth and protection that comes from being cared for, another part feels disrespected when this role is not clearly consensual or reciprocal. She insists it’s all just playful domination but I’m worried about crossing boundaries in a space where respect is paramount. What do you guys think? Is it okay to enjoy both sides of a caregiver/little dynamic as long as everyone's onboard and consenting, even if the other person isn’t always willing to switch roles themselves? Your thoughts are appreciated!
