Confident in My Role

I've been playing the Daddy role for a few years now with my partner. It's about power dynamics and mutual respect, she looks to me for guidance and discipline, but also intimacy and affection on her terms. We both get something from this setup that we can't find elsewhere. I'm proud of how it has grown us as individuals and as partners. Is this just a phase, or is there something more enduring here? What advice do you have for maintaining the balance between control and care?
