My Secret with the Boss...

So I started working at this coffee shop about three months ago, right after turning eighteen. The boss, Mr. Thompson, is in his forties and we've kind of developed this weird thing between us... It's not anything explicit or anything like that, but there are these moments where he acts almost paternal... He’s strict with me when I make a mistake on the register or get too flirty with customers... There was one time I accidentally got an order wrong and instead of yelling at me, he took me into his office to talk about it. But then it turned into this thing where he was giving me these lectures that felt more like gentle chastisements, but also like there was something deeper going on... He’d be staring right at me with this intense look in his eyes... It's confusing and exciting all at once. Am I overthinking this? Is it normal to feel drawn to a boss in such an odd way? Have you had any experiences that sound similar? Please let me know.
