kink fallout

ok so this is the thing i have been wanting to share for a while but didnt know how. me and my partner of three years started experimenting with some kinks not long ago, its really exciting stuff and we both enjoy it alot. last week though things got kinda messy. one day i suggested we try out a new scenario that had always intrigued me, something playful and not too intense. she seemed hesitant but open to discussing it further. after a lot of back and forth about the details, she agreed. on the night itself, everything was fine for a while, but as things progressed, i could tell she started to feel uncomfortable. i kept going thinking we were both enjoying ourselves but maybe shes just taking her time getting into it? at some point she asked me to stop, which confused me cause moments before she seemed okay with it. after that night we barely talked about the kink stuff for days, and even regular conversations felt strained. now im worried i pushed too hard or made assumptions without checking in enough. its a confusing situation cos while there are other aspects of our relationship thats strong, this one thing is making me doubt if were on the same page at all. feelin kinda lost rn.
