The Heavy Heart of a Little Boy
Anonymous Velvet Petal #534 · General Confessions
I've been with my dom for five years now. It's an odd dynamic, I know, me being in the little role and him as the strict daddy figure. But it works beautifully for us, or at least it used to. Over time, I've grown more confident and even started pushing back against his rules sometimes. The irony is that he's not a mean dom; if anything, he’s been my rock through some rough patches in life. Yet lately, there's this nagging feeling of frustration building up inside me. Yesterday, it all came to a head when I accidentally broke one of his antique figurines, something small but meaningful to him. He was upset, and rightfully so; rules are rules after all. But the way he reacted, with that cold, serious look in his eyes as if it was my job to protect every single thing he owns... That’s what broke me inside. Afterwards, I couldn't stop thinking about how different he would've handled a real mistake or if something truly bad happened. It's like being caught between a childlike fear and the realization that you're an adult who makes mistakes too. And then there was the guilt: why can’t I just be perfect for him? I feel stuck, torn between loving this dynamic we have going, feeling secure in it, but also needing to grow and maybe not being able to do so under its current structure. What does that mean? How do I express these feelings without pushing him away or breaking what we have? It's a heavy heartache right now.
