A Day Off from Mommying
Anonymous Fuzzy Bean #972 · General Confessions
So today was supposed to be my day off from being a mommy figure in our arrangement with Alex. But you know how that goes, right? Sometimes I find myself slipping into the role even when it's not necessary or expected. It just...happens. Anyway, we were hanging out at his place, and something felt different. The usual chatter was there, but there was this undercurrent, like we both knew what was coming without saying a word. I mean, being Alex's mommy is such an emotional journey for me. Sometimes it feels overwhelming, and other times, I'm just...lost in the dynamic. Like today, when I found myself pulling him into my lap and brushing his hair out of his eyes like he’s still this little kid who needs everything. It was weird, because I know intellectually that Alex is an adult; we’ve agreed on all this being consensual play for us. But sometimes, it's just so...real. And then there was the moment where I had to give him a stern look about something he did, and you could see in his eyes how much it affected him. It wasn't a big thing, more like when your kid leaves dirty dishes everywhere after having guests over. But watching Alex flinch under that gaze made me feel so many things: the weight of responsibility, the connection between us, and this odd blend of pleasure and guilt. I guess sometimes you get lost in these dynamics and forget where you are. It's funny how our minds work, right? One moment, we're talking about something totally unrelated, like favorite movies or hobbies, and then suddenly there it is, the discipline aspect that feels so intrinsic to who we've become together. We laughed afterwards because, really, we’re both adults here. But still...there’s this part of me that gets lost in pretending to be a mother figure for him, even when I know logically it's just roleplay. Anyway, today was meant to be a chill day off from all that intensity, but instead, it turned into one of those days where boundaries blur and you find yourself playing the parts inside your head as well. It’s strange how these things can sneak up on you.
