Oopsie!

So I promised my Daddy last night that I'd clean the kitchen before going to bed. Yeah, you know how it goes, he's all about the rules and order. But then I got really sleepy and thought maybe tomorrow morning would be okay too... And then this morning came around and still no cleanup done! So there was a bit of a scolding over coffee (he's quite fond of his early mornings). It felt pretty silly, being reprimanded like that for such a little thing. But hey, it reminded me why I love our dynamic, the attention to detail, the responsibility... and even the occasional guilt trip feels kind of nice. So tonight? No excuses! The kitchen gets cleaned, and maybe there'll be less yelling this time.
