i'm the mommy bartender

so i work as a bartender and last week this dude walks in and he’s got his kids with him but hes like all dressed up for some fancy thing, suit and tie. anyway, i start chatting with him cos he seemed nice, asked him if he was coming out of town or what. turns out he was there for a work conference but had some downtime. we talked a bit about drinks and stuff. then i see his kids are looking around bored so i offered to give them free soda since they couldn’t drink alcohol. that got his attention real quick cause hes all like “you’re such a nice lady”. then he starts telling me how hard it is being both mom and dad after his wife passed away, just him working long hours with the kids. i mean i get it but i also kinda thought he could use some guidance in life. so when he was going to leave for his room or whatever i stopped him and said “let me be your mommy for a while”. you should have seen his face, all wide eyed and shocked but also like secretly excited. we walked up to my place which is right above the bar, took off his tie and started treating him like a little boy again, telling him what to do and not do. we had this really intimate connection because he was just so lost without guidance. i gave him orders about how to behave, dressed him in some childish pajamas from my stash upstairs even though hes an adult guy, you know? it felt empowering and he looked so grateful for the direction. we cuddled a bit too, nothing sexual but emotionally really intimate. the next day before he left i said “thanks for being such a good boy” and gave him one last hug as his mommy figure before he went back to reality. im not sorry at all, actually kind of proud i could help him out that way.
