A Boring Week's Escape
Anonymous Secret Plum #782 · Little Space
I've had such a mundane week at the office. Everything felt like a blur of meetings and paperwork. The urge to just be someone else came over me, someone who didn't have these worries or responsibilities. So last night, I decided to let myself sink into being a little girl again for a while. It wasn't about sex this time, it was more about the feeling of being taken care of without having to think about anything except how much I needed that care. I craved it deeply. I curled up in bed with my stuffed animals and watched cartoons until I felt like I could almost believe I was back at home, safe from all the grown-up stuff. It was so comforting. Sometimes it feels wrong to indulge this side of myself because society tells me these are just silly childhood things. But when you're feeling as lost as I am, there's a lot of power and peace in letting yourself regress.
