Newfound Sensations

I recently stumbled upon the concept of Dominance and Submission in an adult bookstore while I was researching for a paper on cultural rituals and found myself strangely drawn to it. As someone who has always prided themselves on their independence, this discovery felt like entering uncharted territory. It's as if a part of me that I didn't know existed awakened with the flick of a switch. Last week, in an effort to understand this newfound attraction, I decided to explore it with my partner, and he agreed. The experience was exhilarating, I felt vulnerable yet safe, empowered by being stripped bare of pretense and expectations. It's funny how something that initially seemed so foreign can feel like the most natural thing in the world once you embrace it. This confession is just me processing all these new feelings, trying to make sense of them without judgment. I'm still figuring things out, but for now, it feels good just acknowledging this side of myself.
