Confession of a Mommy Mishap
Anonymous Giggly Petal #566 · General Confessions
Well folks, it's confession time! I'm in my 50s and have been playing the role of mommy for years now with my partner. We've got this dynamic where I get to be the disciplining figure and he plays the little boy who gets into trouble once in a while. It’s fun and adds an interesting twist to our relationship, but here's the thing, last week, I messed up real bad. See, we had agreed that when we're roleplaying, my partner is supposed to come directly home after work without any detours for coffee or snacks. He does this to prove he can be a good little boy and follow mommy’s rules perfectly. Last Tuesday, though, something happened. I got an unexpected delivery at the house, a big box of his favorite cookies! You know how it goes when temptation strikes. So here's where my story gets interesting: as soon as I saw those cookies sitting there on the kitchen counter, something in me just couldn't resist. I figured I would sneak a couple since they were practically right there and he wouldn’t notice if one or two went missing. So, against all our rules, I took two, just two!, to have my little snack. When he got home later that evening and found the box empty, he knew something was off because those cookies are like gold to him. He gave me a questioning look but decided not to push it right then; instead, we continued with our routine as if nothing happened. But you can’t hide forever, right? The next day, during one of our chats where he usually gets into trouble for small rule-breaks, the truth came out. I had to admit that I couldn't resist those delicious cookies and gave in. He was shocked and a bit upset that I broke one of his rules even though it wasn’t something big. But you know what? It’s all about the dynamic we've created, where we both have responsibilities to uphold, but when things slip up, we handle them with love and understanding. So here's my confession: mommy got a little naughty with those cookies, and for that moment of weakness, I had to answer to him as if he were really getting into trouble at school. It’s funny how such a small thing can disrupt the harmony in our relationship temporarily. But it taught me a lesson about temptation and sticking to commitments, whether they're big or little things like cookies. It's okay to slip up once in a while, especially when playing mommy and daddy, as long as you own up to your mistakes with grace.
