Growing Closer Through Roleplay...

I've been in this DDLG dynamic with my partner for nearly three years now. We started as a little-caregiver pair and sometimes switch roles, depending on the day and our mood. It's amazing how connected we feel, like no boundaries between us... But lately, I'm wondering if it's too much? If others find it weird or unhealthy to take this kind of adult-to-adult roleplay so seriously... What do you think? Is there something wrong with feeling so deeply into these roles even when they're just make-believe? ...
