Reflections on Solitude

Anonymous Giggly Moth #804 · Little Space

I’m in the early stages of my life as a little after recently becoming single again. The transition is strange and I've been navigating how to manage these newfound needs without a partner or established community yet. One day, I found myself craving that familiar security and innocence of childhood, a feeling so pure it’s almost therapeutic. It started during an episode of animated shows meant for kids, something about the simplicity of their world touched me deeply. I felt this overwhelming urge to just be small again, without any of life's complexities. The headspace came naturally, as if someone flicked a switch deep inside me. Soon enough, I was cuddling with plush toys and feeling more at peace than ever before. It’s not something I'm looking for help or advice on, I’m merely processing my recent revelations. I keep drifting back to these memories of youthful bliss amidst adult turmoil.
