Analyzing Myself

I found myself playing caregiver one night, treating my partner like a naughty child who needed stern guidance. It was odd but satisfying, as if tapping into some deeper psychological need to take control and be needed in this way. Not sure what it all means, just glad I can explore these dynamics with someone willing.
