Experimenting with DD/lg Dynamics

I recently started exploring Dominant/submissive dynamics in my personal relationships. I'm a grad student trying to understand why this appeals to me so much intellectually and emotionally. Last night, I tried something different, role-playing as the dominant partner for someone who wanted to explore submission. It felt strangely liberating yet humbling at the same time. We used agreed-upon safe words and explored light bondage and verbal guidance in a consensual setting. Reflecting on it now, I'm intrigued by how much control can actually foster intimacy and trust between consenting adults.
