A Day of Playful Lessons

I'm this college student turned full-time Mommy to my boyfriend. It started as a playful dynamic we both enjoyed, and it just stuck because honestly, he loves being told what to do and taking on the role so willingly makes me feel powerful in ways I never expected. We'd spend afternoons together with him playing video games or reading books while I sat nearby making notes of his behavior, sometimes 'disciplining' him if he misbehaved, like leaving a game mid-level just because he's too frustrated. It sounds silly but it’s our thing. Today was especially fun when we tried cooking dinner together and he had to follow my strict instructions for everything from chopping vegetables to seasoning the meat. We both laughed at how seriously he took it, yet somehow it ended with us cuddling on the couch and watching a movie together, feeling closer than ever.
