Got Caught Skipping Laundry Day

I'm Daddy Alex, and I've got a small confession. You know how sometimes you just don't feel like doing chores, even when you're supposed to? Well, today was laundry day for the little one in my care, but I totally spaced out. I'd planned on getting everything done right after breakfast, but I got distracted by some work stuff and before I knew it, the whole day had slipped away from me. It's not like she needs new clothes or anything; we've still got plenty of clean ones to get her through until next week. Well, I guess today I wasn't that guy. When she found out at dinner tonight, those puppy-dog eyes just broke my heart. It was a little embarrassing to admit, but honesty is key here.
