Late nights can be treacherous when you're living a strict DDLG dynamic. One such night, after a particularly exhausting day, my guard was down. I slipped up by staying out past curfew, breaking the unwritten rule of always being home on time. When I finally made it back, it wasn't just my partner but also a series of texts from friends expressing concern and frustration with me.
