Proud Little Switch Confession

I'm a grad student and I swing between being a little and a caregiver in DDLG dynamics. Tonight, with my partner, I got into the role of a submissive little, and he played the strict father figure. We had an intense scene where he disciplined me for breaking a rule, kneeling over a chair with a red bottom after a paddle spanking that made every nerve in my body sing. Afterwards, he comforted me, tucking me into bed like I was his precious child. It feels so real and intimate when we do this, but also incredibly liberating. Am I the only one who finds this setup both exciting and comforting?
